Project Scoping
Project Scoping is critical in setting up your project for overall success. The Drifter team covers a wide range of disciplines to evaluate all aspects of your project’s viability. From engineering studies to economic evaluations to field construction planning we have you covered. We can compile project execution plans, perform life cycle economic analysis and conduct FEED activities to ensure your project is on the path to success from the beginning.
Project Management
Our project managers specialize in executing projects on time and on budget no matter what gets tossed their way. We cover a variety of disciplines including regulatory (applications, approvals and consultations), civil earthworks design, facility design & construction and supporting infrastructure design & construction. Working closely with our shop and field inspectors allows the Drifter project managers to be at their best. We pride ourselves in our reputation to continue to deliver all projects on time and on budget.
Construction Supervision
Once a project hits the field, skilled construction supervision is likely the most important factor relating to overall project success. Drifter has a well-developed pool of construction supervisors who bring a wide breadth of experience in supervising projects ranging from small to large scale. We cover mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil earthworks, and safety supervision. We effectively organize and supervise all on site labour contractors while ensuring work is performed safely and all applicable code requirements are met, all while demanding top quality execution to ensure your project is a successful one.
Shop Inspection & Logistics
Our shop inspection team plays a critical role in maintaining the overall project schedule by ensuring all equipment is assembled to required specifications and delivered on time. When delays in manufacturing are encountered we work closely with the project managers and field inspectors to rearrange priorities and minimize overall schedule impact. Our logistics group works with the shop and field inspectors to ensure skids and modules are completed and delivered in the planned field construction sequence allowing for efficient assembly at site.
Commissioning
The ultimate success of your project is determined by operational performance. A key component in ensuring operational excellence is successful plant commissioning. The Drifter team is imbedded with folk who have ample commissioning and operating experience making us well equipped to get any facility (whether designed and constructed by us or others) up and running for you in an efficient, safe and cost effective manor.
