Overview of the project

Drifter executed the project management and field construction supervision for Connacher’s Algar commercial SAGD facility beginning with preparing the regulatory application for submission in Q2 2007 through to first steam in Q2 2010. The Drifter team was involved in scoping assistance and evaluations, regulatory approvals, supporting infrastructure, civil earthworks, engineering, field construction management, cost and schedule management, commissioning, and post-startup support. The result was a 10,000bopd central processing facility, three well pads, and all supporting infrastructure, including 15MW of on-site power generation, constructed on time and on budget.
