Overview of the project

Drifter executed the project management and field construction supervision for Pengrowth’s Lindbergh commercial SAGD facility beginning with preparing the regulatory application for submission in Q4 2012 through to first steam in Q4 2014. The Drifter team was involved in scoping assistance and evaluations, regulatory approvals, supporting infrastructure, civil earthworks, engineering, shop inspection coordination, field construction management, cost and schedule management, commissioning, and post-startup support. The result was a 12,500bopd central processing facility, three well pads, and all supporting infrastructure, including 15MW of on-site power generation, constructed on time and on budget. Sales oil and diluent pipelines were constructed and commissioned in 2015.
